Go see your dentist. It could be gingivitis or gum disease. My father has gingivitis but he now has a regular routine of flossing, brushing, tongue scraping and a speacial mouth rinse that the dentist perscribes. He has actually managed to greatly reduce the problems he had with bad breath.

Use pure hydrogen peroxide in the brown bottle that you can get at most stores. It’s usually by the rubbing alcohol. It should say on there that it’s for oral debriding and cuts (NOT the kind you bleach hair with). Use a capful or two as a mouth rinse either before or after brushing (or both). You should notice a difference right away. Also, using pure Arm & Hammer baking soda (NOT baking powder) on your toothbrush works too. Just dip your brush in some and cover the bristles and brush. It tastes awful, but will sweeten your breath. Some days I use both perioxide and baking soda. Also using a baking soda and peroxide toothpaste helps too. I’m not a dentist, I just know by experience.

hey hun….brushing your tongue wont help….here is how i clean my mouth and it works wonderfully…first you brush your teeth…then you scrape your tongue (with a tongue scraper or a metal spoon works great) all you have to do is take a spoon and scrape the tongue from the back to front (you might have to scrape it a couple of times) then take and floss…the last step is to swish your mouth (i like the Listerine whitening brand) and your mouth should feel squeaky clean….love daisy

Ok this is gross but there is one other thing that no one else has mentioned. Do you get a lot of mucus draining down the back of your throat? Do you still have your tonsils? If you answered yes to those questions then get a torch and a mirror and check for pockets that may be on the surface of your tonsils. Cough and you may see something white- the mucus collects there sometimes and produces the most disgusting smelling cheese(I call it).Vigourous gargling with saltwater should dislodge it and if that doesnt work (dentists and Health experts will groan) gentle pressure with a clean finger or paddlepop stick works too….Prevention is better- rethink drinking milk. All the best and hope you work it out.

Use listerine, and brush your teeth and your togue, if it doesn’t help i would see your dentist to see if you have something going on with your gums or teeth.
