they have these little bones they’re like white and teal n light blue and they’re breath bones! I use them for my poodle. My Nonna uses a tooth brush and her dog is kinda nuerotic but also she bathes the poor thing daily and cleans its ears constantly.. ne way try the breath bones

If you’re feeding him canned food, stop. They don’t brush after every meal, and all that soggy stuff gets caught between their teeth and rots, which can’t smell too good since it doesn’t smell great when it’s fresh from the can.
If you’ve done everything you can including dental care and his breath still stinks, it could be the smell is coming from his stomach and not his mouth. Take him in to the vet and find out.

There are two things i can think of. #1 is a doggie breath treat. I heard those work really well. #2 is a dog breath bone. there white and blue. those work well too.
You can get both of these things at most pet stores and places like walmart.

My sister has a toy poodle and her breath is bad. So is her dogs. Anyway, Sis’ vet told her that poodles are prone to having bad breath and there’s really not much you can do about it. Her vet prescribed some type of drops that would tone it down a bit but I’m not sure how long she’ll have to give them to her. Your best bet is to contact your dogs vet and see what they say.

If he’s been checked for dental problems by a vet (abcess, gigivitis, etc.)and the dog breath still exists, even with consistent brushing on your part, I’d consider changing his diet and see if that helps. Gastrointestinal disorders of varying types can also cause bad breath in dogs. See what your vet thinks might be causing it and follow his/her lead.

Dry food can reduce dogs bad breath to a minimum and is great for the teeth as well. I only use canned food with old dogs. Also always have a bowl of water available near the food bowl when using dry food.

You could try dog teeth cleaning treats, brush his teeth more often, while you brush his teeth try brushing his tongue. or ask your vet. He/She might give him a special type of dog toothpaste or tooth brush.

Try these little chew bones called “greenies” they clean their teeth and help their breath. If not, give you dog a tic-tac…

There may be something wrong with his stomach if his breath smells this bad even after cleaning his teeth. Take his to the vet and see if maybe his stomach is not digesting his food properly. Either that or you could go to a Target store, or a local petstore and look for “DDS – Doggie Dental Solutions” there should be a bottle that has little caplets or vitamin sort of thingys that you put in your dogs water. They are breath fresheners that you put in your dogs water. You can also buy petmints at a local petstore.

You can brush their teeth. Also you can take them to the vet for a dental cleaning and after that you can brush his teeth continuously. also try brushing his tongue. Even ask your vet what the best remedy would be.

my friend has a cute little jack russ..worst breath I have come by…I’m gonna suggest skippin canned and look over table scraps that would be suitable…and there’s a refrigerated section in our local market. A mint bone or two wouldn’t hurt. If no improvement…seek advice from your vet….Thanks to y’all for some good advice.
